In knitting news, I finished the Horcrux socks and Uncle Patrick's bookmarks. I bought a new knitting bag at Michaels and I love it. I started a pair of sideways mittens with the pattern that I found on Knitting Nonni. The link is on the sidebar. I am using Red HEart Super Saver to use it up. I am almost finished with the second mitten. The color is Claret. I made a Pygmy Puff with Patons Twister in purple. I named him Harold the Purple Pygmy Puff. Like Harold and the Purple Crayon. lol. At Michaels yesterday I bought a needle gauge and found out the sizes of all of the double pointed needles that I bought at the church yard sale. Yea! TTYL

101 Things and Counting!

So far this year I have knit 101 things and counting. I finished my Horcrux Socks and they are so comfortable. I ended up just knitting them the same. I love them! I don't have a picture yet but I plan on it! I knitted up a Tea Cozy Crown hat yesterday in blue and gray for a two and a half year old's Big Brother Present. It ended up so cute! I was very proud of it. I am also knitting a wand. Yes, that's right, a wand! I am using some dark brown Wool Ease and size 3 dpn. II think it will turn out pretty cute!

I am knitting a prayer shawl to add to my great grandmother's Christmas present. I plan on knitting on for both my aunts and my grandmother to add to their Christmas presents. I will knit one for my mom too, if she wants one. If she doesn't I will figure something else out.

I need to go and work on my Gram's shawl and hopefully get it done soon. I am baby-sitting at least four days this week, so this shawl will probably use it as a baby-sitting project. I am going to use my baby-sitting money to buy the six skeins of Microspun that I am going to need for my Summertime Tunic. I joined the knitalong, and I am ordering my needles off of Knit Picks soon. I am also buying the set of KIPer bags. The set of bags is only fifty but separately they are eight a piece. I can't wait to knit up my tunic!!!!

Post With Pix Later...

I promise! I will have beach pics and knitting pics. I have been knitting a ton, as you can see on my progress bars. I finished the Fancy Fur scarf and the Feather and Fan scarf. I am going to try and finish the prayer shawl today while watching movies. I am going to Wal-Mart today to buy the last color I need for Uncle Patrick's House
Bookmarks. I have finished Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw. I just need to knit Huffepuff. I have the plum color that I need, I just don't have to yellow. I can knit that tonight, or finish it tomorrow while I baby-sit the twins. When they ride in the Bye-Bye Buggy, I can put my yarn in the hole and knit while I push the buggy. It is a very nice arrangement. I am going to try to finish my Horcrux socks before Wednesday night. I am going up to the lake with my family and a family from my church who have a house up there. I can wear my Horcrux socks as slippers because they are much to thick to wear as socks. I plan on knitting one with a burgundy leg and foot, with a gold heel and toe, and then do the opposite on the other. I am knitting them in Red Heart. It isn't the best yarn but it works for bookmarks and slippers!

More Stash Reduction!!!

I have just joined the Stashalong and I am working on the WIP goal. I am about finished with my first goal. I started a scarf today out of the same yarn that I made Cleo's toy out of. I had a whole other skein plus the rest of that skein, so I am using it to make a scarf using a pattern from the book One Skein Wonders. I have had to book for awhile, I just haven't made much from it. This is a really quick pattern. I really like it. I will post some pictures of it tomorrow.

Today, I also packed my bag of knitting to take to Gulftreat with me. Tomorrow my mom and my sister won't be here so I will have all day to work on Judie Storie's prayer shawl. I am so close to being done. I am ready for it to be off the needles! That will probably inspire me to work on it. I may go over to the church with my mom and sister tomorrow. There is a bunch of preschool kids coming to the church to play and I may go to see them. Work on my knitting, watch kids play, etc, etc. It may be fun. Plus I know that they will have Popsicles. I like Popsicles. A lot. lol.

I am so happy! I am using up a lot of yarn, and it actually feels really good. Most of what I am making now is going to charity and it is nice to know that what I am making is going to warm someone up in the winter.

I'll talk to you all tomorrow!

Cat and Mouse

This morning I crocheted a little mouse for my kitty cat Cleo. It is so cute and quick to make. I loved making it. It also used up a little bit of one skein. It would be great for scraps. I will probably make some more today.

Tonight Lindsey is spending the night!!! I am very excited. I am so going to take a ton of pictures so that we can have a sleepover page in my scrapbook which I bought yesterday!!!!! I have already filled up 15 pages! It is so cute! I found some more pictures and edited them. Here they are:

Aren't they adorable! The baby is Alec. I wrote about him a couple of months ago. The little girl is his big sister Ava. They are so sweet. I would carry Alec around all day if I could!

I am getting my hair cut today! Probably nothing drastic. I don't know. Maybe choppier layers.

101 Post and Pictures!!!

This is my 101 post!!!!! YEA!!! I didn't realize that my last post was my 100. Silly me. Yesterday was Penecost. It was very fun. I took a ton of pictures. After church we went to the Nixon's house. They have four kids. I am in the middle. I had nothing to do. I didn't feel good and my allergies were acting up. So my night was not fun. However I got a bunch of knitting done. I didn't get to measure my WUA square until I got home so I didn't realize how far off I was in width. It was 8.5 inches wide! Of course it wouldn't be nine so I could just keep knitting until it was seven inches long. Nope. It had to be 8.5. This is a picture of it when we left.
Isn't it pretty. I was really liking it. I went to bed as soon as we got home (around ten) because I didn't feel good. Then I get up this morning all ready to finish knitting that square. I pull out my measuring tape and it is 8.5 inches wide. Sigh. It got frogged. Sad. I restarted it and am working on it again.
I started a hat yesterday, using Knitting Nonni's pattern again. I am almost done with it. I am using one of three skeins of a gray color in Lion Brand Homespun. It is pretty. I am going to be using the rest of it to knit Margie Voltz a shrug. Then I will still have two skeins to use. After I finish this hat (I am on the last wedge) I am going to start one using Bernat Softee Chunky. It is a blue, green combo. I like it but I would never wear it. More charity stuff.
I am almost done with Christmas presents. I am going to start a mini sweater today or tomorrow after I baby-sit. Tomorrow my bff Linny is spending the night! I have a feeling we will be up late watching movies so I will have plenty of time to knit. I am saving Pop Pop hideous orange scarf that he needs for hunting for last. I will work on it on the way to Gulftreat. I will probably be able to finish it while I am down there. I am so close to being done with all the Christmas presents. I am sensing a stress free Christmas in my future! YEA!!! I do not want another Christmas like last year when I was so stressed.
I took some adorable pictures yesterday and here are three that I LOVE. The first one is my dad telling two little girls about when he popped a jumpy thing at a Penecost a long time ago. Here it is: Isn't it sweet. I got it right when he was clapping his hands together going POP! I love that picture. It is soooooo very cute.

Here is another picture. Isn't she cute! Her name is Ella. I am baby-sitting her and her older sister, Gracen, every Thursday this summer. They are so sweet. Ella has a big temper. You wouldn't think it looking at her sweet little face, but man can she scream. It is actually pretty funny. I love Ella. She rocks.

Meet Parker. Is he not the cutest little boy you have ever seen? I was in the toddler room his first, second, third, and fourth time he came in. The first time, he cried when I took him and his parents left. The second time a few tears were shed. The third and fourth time, he reached for me! I love love love Parker and his older sister Audrey. To many sweet little babies at my church. I love them all!!!!!!

I have like nothing to do today except to knit and look at the pictures I took yesterday. I am going to Sam's later to get some pictures printed and to buy a scrapbooking starter kit. At Sam's it is $30, and that includes a kit to keep it all in, stickers, markers, and albums! I am so excited.

I am off to knit and use up stash!

Stash Used!

I have used THREE skeins of my stash already!!!!! I am so very proud of myself! I knit two hats yesterday. One is my cousin Phillip's hat and the other is a hat for charity using Knitting Nonni's wedge hat pattern. The link to her blog is on the sidebar. I knit a camera case using the other skein. Here is a picture(look down). Isn't it pretty! I used Moda Dea Chace. I was gifted one skein of it as a late Christmas present and there isn't much you can do with only one skein. I used the Gold Digger bag pattern from the book Teen Knitting Club and then used the lace pattern from Chicks With Sticks (Knit Two Together). I love it! I even added snaps! I think it took me longer to sew on the straps then it did to knit the actual bag. I love it and it fits my camera, a spare set of batteries, and the camera card case perfectly. I LOVE IT!!!! There was a little bit left over so I saved it. I had the perfect idea! I am going to take my camera to the next Knit Wits and take a bunch of pictures. Then,in my scrapbook I am going to put the pictures and make little skeins of Moda Dea that I make. I will put those on the page! Won't it be cute!!

Today was Penecost at my church and we had a picnic and a jumpy thing for the kids. I have some cute pictures. I will try to upload them tonight and post them sometime this week.

Next Sunday Lindsey and I leave for Gulftreat with my mom!!! I am so excited. I think that Lindsey and I are going to get air brush t-shirts. I will post pictures of them if we get them. I can't wait. I need to make a packing list. I am baby-sitting five times this week. I am going to get my mom to take me to Sam's. I am going to get some pictures printed and buy a scrapbook set. I can't wait.

I need to go finish cleaning up my room. Not much to do, as I have been keeping it clean surprisingly. I am proud of myself. I never keep my room clean!

New Camera, Hopefully Less Stash!

Last night I was given a really expensive camera as a gift for making the National Junior Honors Society! I am sooooo excited. I am hoping to start scrapbooking and my current camera is well, crappy to say the least. I already have ideas for pages!!!

About the hopefully less stash thing. I have asked to join The 2007 Summer Stash Shout Out and the Stashalong. For the Stashalong I am probably going to use the WIP/FO section. I am going to say two pairs of mittens a week, one WUA square a week, Judie Stories prayer shawl, Fun Fetti scarf, and a screaming stash. Does that sound good? I really don't think that it will take me a month to knit all of that, so I will probably throw in some other stash projects!

Pictures and Friends

Oh my gosh! School is almost over! I have three exams left and then I will be done. I am looking forward to summer, but I am also dreading the end of school. I will miss my friends so much! I can't imagine not seeing my friends every day! I am so used to seeing them. Lindsey and I are heading off to camp on June 3, but we will have my computer with me and we will post often. I know that we will be able to get some pictures so I may have some pictures them. Anyway, here are a bunch of pictures now!

The top one is me and Lindsey. The second one is me and Danielle. The third one is me and Shelby. The last one is the gang at lunch. The redhead is Patrick, the one who is laying down is Zach, and the last one is William.

I am not done with Judie Stories prayer shawl, but I have knit two. I made one for myself. I have been so stressed out lately. I have had exams and a ton of projects, plus all of the stupid end of the year crap that people have to deal with. I did get tapped into the National Junior Honors Society though. I knit myself a shawl out of white Homespun. I have been using the shawl pattern from the book Back On Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber. The second one that I knit is for Lindsey. She has been dealing with the same stress I have plus more because she is moving. I knit hers out of red Homespun. I am trying to use up most of my Homespun by making prayer shawls and shrugs.

Wednesday is my last day of school. Yay!

Shawls and Mittens

I am making a prayer shawl for Judie Storie, the grandmother of the awesome triplets I baby sit. She has had cancer and recently it spread to her brain. I am using the Tea and Sympathy shawl pattern from the Lion Brand website. I like it so far. I was wondering if it actually took all of both skeins. It is getting big really fast and I am wondering if it actually takes that much. For the shawl I am using the yarn that I bought for Mrs.Parrish's blanket. I think that she will like a scarf and I am going to knit her a blanket next year. Knowing Mrs.Parrish, she would rather me knit a shawl for a woman with cancer then knit her a blanket.

I am also planning on knitting seven pairs of mittens and hat sets. There is a knit a long type thing going on. I am going to donate mine to EACM (Eastern Area Christian Ministries). I know the president and everything. She goes to my church. I am probably going to use Bernat Softee Chunky for the sets.

Reggie is graduating this Saturday!!!!!!!

Fun Fetti. More. More. More.

I am knitting teacher gifts for my teachers at school. I am making scarves our of Fun Fetti for my teachers, and I hate it!!!!!!!!!!! Of course by using it I am using up a alrge amount of my stash but it doesn't mean I have to like it. I am also planning on knitting a baby bolero from One Skein for my language teacher who is having a baby. I will probably pick up a skein of Cotton Ease to make it.

I found out yesterday that Gilmore Girls is being canceled. I was sooo sad.

I am sick. I have a stomach bug/migrane thing going on. It sucks. I woke up at three and didn't dtop vomiting until around noon. Sigh.

Hey!

I bought the yarn for Mrs.Parrish's blanket today. In case I have not mentioned it, Mrs.Parrish is my choir teacher. I am knitting her blanket using the same pattern that I knit Linny's blanket in. I am using a different yarn though. I am using Homespun, by Lion Brand, in the colors Grape and White. I cast on the first purple panel today in the car right after I had bought the yarn.

Right now I am baby-sitting Susanne and Riley Voltz. They are watching High School Musical. They will have to go to bed in about half an hour. I have pictures from the Washington Zoo on my computer at home, but I am using Margie's computer right now, so I don't have pictures yet. I am loving the way the Homespun is knitting up on the eleven's. I never thought I would say this but when I finished Linny's blanket I missed having something to knit that was jsut straight garter stitch. I am very glad I cast on for this. When I finish knitting Mrs.P's blanket, I will probably cast on a blanket for Audrey. Her favortie color is green. If I was to get a light green, what color should I get to go with it. I am also planning on knitting a baby blanket to give to Michelle at her baby shower whenever it is. I am going to be knitting so many blankets! These are the biggest things that I have ever knitted, and I am loving it! Unfortunatly my cat loves it, too. She comes and curls up on the panel that I am knitting at the time and won't get off of it!!!!!! I have three weeks to knit the blanket for Mrs.Parrish's blanket. I am definatly going to finish it. I can probably knit a panel a day if I don't have homework plus the knitting I can do at school. I can't wait to see her face when she opens up her present. Of course, knitting her this balnket this year means that I am going to have no idea what to knit her next year. Any ideas anyone? I am going to post about the blanket on my Last Minute Knitted Gifts KAL page. I am considering this my last minute knitted gift.

Last night I spent five hours building a house for a project. We had to use an old hot glue gun. It got really hot all of a sudden while I was using it and burned my finger. I have a burn blister there now. It hurts really bad. I have a math test Monday but that is no big deal.

Tomorrow morning I have to watch a baby at Mom's Group for my church. The nursery person that we have now irritates me. I was playing a game with the kids once and she seemed to think that they weren't learning. I am sitting there thinking, "yes they are!!!" She would stop them so that they could tell her what color a certain color was. The game I was playing with them was showing them how to follow diractions, listen, and learn colors without realizing it. I told them that they had to listen carefully for when I said Freeze! and get on the color red really fast. If they did it, they were following directions, listening, and showing me that they knew what color was which. However, Mrs.Theresa can't get this one baby to ever stop crying. His name is Christian. So far I am the only one other than his mother who can make him stop crying. So, I get him tomorrow! I am very excited!!!

Hey Everybody!

Hey everybody! I have been knitting for awhile now. I am making a scarf to use up three skeins of Incredible yarn from Lion Brand in Copper Penny. It is turning out pretty. I am probably going to use it as a present for one of my teachers. Maybe my civics teacher Mrs.Bryant. She doesn't wear many colors. Copper Penny suits her. I am also going to knit my choir teacher, Mrs.Parrish, a purple and white blanket. Her favorite color is purple. I have just over three weeks to knit this blanket. I am determined to finish it. I am either going to be buying the yarn tomorrow or the next day. Today I got my year book. It is really cool. It looks like a magazine.

Right now I am reading The First Wives Club and Hilary Clinton's auto biography. I like Hilary. I think she is kind of cool.

I'll check in tomorrow. Or the next day.

OMG I AM SO SORRY!

I AM SO SORRY! I have been so busy. I have had SATs and homework and then we went to the beach and I had no computer for a week and omg i am sorry! I did knit though! I made three of the spiral rib bags from the book One Skein which I actually have a picture of, just not on the computer yet. lol. I have finished two Christmas presents for my friends, who are all getting spiral bags with a poem I have written about them inside. I think they will like them. I have two of the bags and two poems done. I am about to start a third. Once again I am sorry!

I Have A Tan

I have a tan!!! Of course it came with bad things. On Friday, while we were going down there, we stopped at Sonic to eat. I am never going there again. I got a burger, and at 4:30 in the morning I threw it up. It was awful. Never ever ever again. No more Sonic.

I didn't end up finishing Mr.Bud's footies. How sad is that? I am on the toe of the first one. Lindsey and I have to finish our blankets before we go to Washington D.C. for our choir trip on the 24th. I am probably going to talk my parents into letting me bring the lap top so I won't run up our cell phone bill calling them.We will see. If I can take it, Lindsey and I can post from Washington. We are both bringing cameras, so you may end up with twice the pictures.

I am sick and my cough medicine is making me sleepy so GN!

I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry!

It has been so long and I am so sorry about it! I was at the beach and I have been busy with school and everything. I have been stressed but I have tried to take some time to relax and it has been doing me good. My school is having a weather day Friday, which is also the day I am leaving for the beach for a church retreat. I did finish the baby sweater and it came out so cute! It also used up three skeins of yarn. I sewed on the buttons the day before I gave it to Margie!

I have found that I can knit a hat a day at school if it is for a preemie. I can knit in between note taking in three classes, and at lunch study and choir! I have made two in two days. They are so cute!

Two weeks ago I got to go to the beach. I think I mentioned it. Anyway, baby-sitting the triplets wasn't bad. It was the last night we were there so they were so so so tired. They went to sleep right away. I hardly knit the whole time we were there. I read two books and played and got a semi-tan. I still looked pretty good for March.

I am still on the first footie for Mr.Bud. It is pitiful. I am taking it on the bus this weekend to work on while we are going to Florida for camp. I should be able to finish the pair since it is a five hour drive on the way there and the way back. And you can add in free time and small group. I am taking my camera so expect pictures!

Today I was catching up on my tivoed 7th Heaven episodes and I cried and cried over a TV show! It was so sad. Eric is going to die!!!!! i was crying and my mom walked in and she was like,"What is the matter with you?", so I told her and she laughed at me!!!! I was mad.

Last Minute Knitted Gifts KAL Started!

I have officially started the Last Minute Knitted Gifts KAL!!!! Yay!

OMG! I am having to knit a sweater for a one year old by Thursday!!!!!!! EEEKKKKKK!!!! I am using the Child's Placket Sweater pattern from the book Last Minute Knitted Gifts. It is goign very quickly since that is all I am working on as of right now. I still have a lot on the needles, but the only thing I am working on is the sweater. Today, I knit the entire body and one sleeve and have started the second sleeve. I also discovered that I can't do seed stitch in the round without paying attention! lol. I had to take out two rounds of the cuff earlier.

This weekend my family and the Stories, who have five-year-old triplets, are all going to the beach. My sister and I are both being checked out of school to drive down, staying all weekend, and coming home late Monday afternoon. At first I was sooooo excited about this trip! I could knit on the beach, knit in the car, finally finish up some stuff. Then I got in the car today where my mother imformed me of something. We would all be going out to eat two of the nights we were there. Then one of the nights, only the adults were going, and I would have to baby-sit all the kids! (4 total). I had already decided that this vacation was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, where I could get away from the stress of school and friends. Apparently not. Now, not only do I have to share one room with at least one five year old and a ten year old, which pretty much ruins the sleeping late thing, I have to worry about getting Catherine, Michael, and Bryce's teeth brushed, tuck them in, and try and make my sister understand that I am in charge. I see no fun in that. I was hoping for a weekend to relax. Now, I am mad at my mother and have cramps. What a wonderful way to spend a weekend at the beach.

On a happier note, I made an A on all of my exams!!!!! Yay!!!
Language- 100
Science- 95
Math- 91
Civics- 100

Hell's Inbox

Hey everybody! I just wanted to pop in and tell you about Hell's Inbox. Eric, Linny, and I have been talking about changing the name from Lace Rox! for quite awhile. (Eric doesn't knit) The content will be the same, the people will be the same, the name is just different.

In other news, Lindsey and Shelby had a fake wedding! (no they are not gay) I was the preacher. It was very funny. I crocehted a ring baers pillow for the ring bear. Yes, I know that is spelled wrong. I haven't posted pictures in awhile so I am going to.

The one on top is me, with my sister Catherine. She is the blonde. The other little girl is my cousin Mary Margaret. The boy is Mary Margaret's brother, Phillip.
The next picture is the "sexy" picture of Patrick.
The last picture is one of Zach that I took in Montgomery.

OMG It's Been So Long!

I am so sorry! I have been knitting so much though! I have knitted hats for Linny's mom, Linny's friend, William, one of my teachers, and one of my teacher's friend!!!! So busy knitting hats!!! Kill me now! Not really. lol. I am now working on another pair of cable footies for a man who goes to my church, Mr.Bud. Mr.Bud rocks. He taught me how to make coffe. As you can see, he is very important. After I knitted my pair of cable footies (pattern found in the book One Skein, Leigh Radfield), Mr.Bud requested a pair. He is going to pay me ten dollars. I have been so busy knitting hats, I haven't had a chance to work on them. Today my school got out at noon because of bad weather so I decided to work on the footies. I have knitted the entire heel flap, and picked up stitches for the heel! YEA!!

Happy early birthday S!!!

Random Things

It's good to be back...I've been lost for a while. Definitely too long since my last (and first) post. Sarah has threatened serious bodily harm if I didn't hurry up and make a new post. It still took over a week for me to get to it. Pathetic. Let's see...what's been going on? Well, speaking of Sarah, we had a great church retreat a lmost two weeks ago now during which she was reminded as to why I don't sing and she saw me dance to energizers (umm...yeah...I really don't need to be doing that either). It's a good thing I don't take myself seriously or I'd have a really nasty complex by now. Totally off the subject...but it's interesting to listen to some pretty heavy rock music and watch animated farm animals on Sprout TV (Audrey--the adorable 3yr old--is watching it across the room) at the same time. I can't really describe the mixture of the two other than really really odd. Anyway, it was a great weekend with the exception of two really really cold showers. The sad part was that I got more sleep sharing a cabin with junior high boys than I did the week before when on another retreat with all the officers of the church. Guess some people never grow up. Well, today was basically an unofficial state holiday because it was national signing day for college football. Our radio at work was tuned to the sports talk radio station all day to get the latest. Nothing like having no life! I have two Hello Kitty Pez dispensers up my shirt sleeve. Yeah...Pez dispensers...Audrey put them there. She wants me to tell you that they're playing a game (apparently involving hiding in my sleeve). Don't know much else that has happened in the past few weeks...other than being cyber-stalked briefly by a junior high cheerleader that mistook me for a 14yr old. Yeah...I'll leave that one alone right there. Thanks Sarah for helping clear that one up! It's once again safe for me to log on to AOL Instant Messenger! Actually, she was a really nice person...she was just misinformed to some vital details about me. Anyway, I better wrap it up here for now. I'll post again in the very near future!

Hey!

Hey all! It is Sarah! I have been knitting so much and using up so much yarn! I have been using the money I would have normally used buying yarn, to go towards books and magazines. Baby items and Christmas presents are the main things on my knitting list right now. I have seven gifts done and I am working on three. I have pictures of all of them, but we rearranged furniture and got new stuff from DaddyBill's house down at the beach, so I can't find the cord to hook up my camera.

I got a bunch of new stuff for my bedroom! It is all antique and so pretty! The new bed set is black and white people fabric. The dresser and other dresser and badside table along with the mirror were all my mother's grandmothers. I got these two huge bookshelves, that I only need the first two shelves to hold my books. And I have two! I put pictures and my calander and my books on one of the shelves. On the other one, I put my stuffed animals and my knitting books. There are still two empty shelves, so I want to buy wicker baskets with black febric on the inside to put my yarn in so I can get rid of the plastic thing it is all in now!

In my other knitting news, I have knitted so much! I have finished the two sets of dishcloths, two scarf, two eyepillows, and one purse for Christmas presents! Yea Me!!

I printed out my past post and gave it to Sarah to read.
Considering I cried while typing my previous post for no apparent reason I wanted people to analyze it for me.
The first person I asked with confindence of explaining my crazy spaztic writing and freaked out emotions was Sarah.
She wrote this

Linny Poo!
Maybe it hit you in your sleep last night how much you are going to miss your brother when you move. Maybe you cried about how you are going to miss the person who is always there when you cry or when you need someone to make you happy.
I know that you love Zach a lot, but maybe it just hasn't hit you about how much more you will miss Zach. I may not be a really good analyzer, but this is my opinion.

Hope this Helps!

Saha (yes that is how she spelled it)

Shelby read it after Sarah and I didn't even ask her to analyze it she just blurted out,
"well it sounds like you should be dating Patrick not Zach"

I am confused about the analyzations, but it will come to me eventually.

The Definition of Friendship Part 1

Ok well I have posted like 3 times already but okay.

Everyone has best friends right?
What is the defition of friend?
The webster's dictionary says that a friend is a human or animal who you trust and believe.

I don't think that is the best definition for friends and this is why.
Well I have the bestest best friends in the whole world.

The Boy

My best friend, my brother, my clown, my protector, and my shoulder to cry on is Patrick.
He is always there for me and always has been.
The inside jokes, the secrets, the hugs, the tears, the smiles, the laughs, the bad things, the good things, the break ups, the embarrassing things, and the special things.
We have shared it all.
I don't know how I could be who am I am today without him. He reminds me that it is okay to be your self and lets me feel it is okay to be my stupid self. LOL 8^)
He is my brother.
I can tell him anything, he is the brother I always wanted and he is a good one.
He is my clown.
When I cry...he is always the first person to rub my back and ask,
"What's a matter with Lindsey?" in his sweet joking voice.
He is always the one to poke my cheeks and act stupid just to put a smile on my face.
I always try to be stuborn and not smile but truly on the inside I am smiling. He is the only thing that makes me smile on my depressing days.
He is my protector.
He may be the first one to kick me when I am down or laugh at me when I am clumsy, but he is also the first one to help me up and yell at the person who hurt me. He is always the one who says,
"Well I am just going to have to boy shot that guy aren't I?" and makes me feel better. He makes me feel safe.
He is my shoulder to cry on.
Even a slight frown and he is worried I am sad. One tear shed he forces me to tell him what is on my mind and it always makes me feel better when I do tell him. He hates to see me upset and does all he can to make me feel better. A hug, holding me for a long time, acting stupid, or whatever it takes he does it.
Patrick has been my best friend since I was 3 and despite me moving I know he will always be my best friend.

He is my best friend out of all my friends girls and boys.
He is my missing half...............

To be continued......

Linny

Tired.....Sleepy....Tired

Grrr....
I am rather tired.
Today was very entertaining

I was mad at Patrick and then I wasn't and then I was.
You all know how that goes....
It is a love/hate thing.
Sometimes I just get frustrated at him, because he is my brother and I love him and even though I know he will take care of me and love me too I like want to strangle him sometimes.
Oh well I love him though.

Does anyone one have the answer to the question all women ask to the men?
Eric, Patrick, Zach, any answers?
Well the question is, Are you ever serious?
I love the jokes but when girls tell you they love you, or they need to talk about important stuff they act like freaks.

I love my brothers so I guess I will have to put up with it.

Another question.
If a tree falls in a forest but no one is there to hear it does it make a sound?
Just kidding,
How many words does it take for a writer to make a point?
.
.....
.........
...........

............
................

If you guessed 3 ur correct.
I LOVE YOU

~ You're only as good as the coffee you drink ~

I am Scottie

You are SCOTTIE. You live for order in your knitting bag, in your closet and most of all, in your life. You like your friends where you can see them, best friends here, lunch buddies there, and crushes safely admired from afar. Some day you'll come out of your shell, but until your moment comes, you're content to keep your nose low, observing the movers and shakers of the world and taking notes. Your favorite yarn is a nice, workable wool.

Doesn't really seem like me......
I am more of the out going type.............
Oh well.............

Well besides the never ending head aches, fighting with Patrick, and being sleepy, I love school. Screw that let's sleep! But again tomorrow with temporary cafine smile plastered on my face, Starbucks in hand, and a new notebook to write down my stories I will make it through another one of these horrid days.

MMMMMMMM...........
I am at loss for words..........

Good morning sun.....
I am a bird wearing a brown polyester shirt.......
You want a coke maybe some fries the roast beef combos only $9.95....
It's okay you don't have to pay I've got all the change.....
Everybody knows it hurts to grow up........
And everybody does so we're to be back here...........

Hi Everyone!

Sarah here. Sorry we haven't been posting. Linny and I have gone back to school and Eric is at work, so we have been pretty busy. I have gotten a bunch of knitting done. I finished my Aunt Laurel's Christmas present and I am almost done with Gram's. I have started a hat, using some Red Heart Super Saver in Camo, and some Wool-Ease in Brown I think. Did anyone see that they are bringing Cotton Ease back? I did, and I can't wait to try some out. I will probably use my Michaels gift card. A gift card is like someone giving you yarn, so technically, I am not breaking the rules of the Knit Your Stash 2007 thing. I am so bored.

Today, Linny and I both checked out because we had awful stomach aches. I was sitting in a chair, almost curled up at one point, clutching my stomch. My teacher looked back and forth, at a place where she could have seen me and didn't notice! Of course, this is Mrs.Smith, who is the queen of the preps, I am sure, so she was probably off IMing Coach Hodge. I will let Linny tell you our conspriary theory on the two of them. Bye bye!

Hey Everybody!

I have knitted a lot this week, since it is still holiday vacation. I am NOT ready to go back to school. Blah. I have already finished my aunt's Christmas present. It is a 12 stitch wide scarf knit in garter stitch with Lion Boucle and size 17 needles. I have also finished 5 pairs of baby booties, one preemie hat, one child size hat, and four dishcloths. Man, have I been busy. I gave 21 partial skeins of yarn to Lindsey for a late CHristmas/Birthday gift. Very good for me. This is going to be very nice for the Knit Your Stash 2007. I had a birthday party today and got a $10 Wal-Mart gift card, a $20 Michaels gift card, a $20 Starbucks giftcard, $15 from my friend Maegan, and a really really cute pair of earrings. A very good birthday. We watched Over the Hedge and ate lots and lots of food. It was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! I will chat a little more tomorrow and I may have some pictures to share! ttyl.

Happy New Year from the New Guy...

Happy 2007 to everyone who reads this blog! I am Eric...Sarah Dianne's friend and the father of the "adorable three-year-old". I have absolutely no idea how to knit (except that needles and some kind of yarn is very important to the whole process), so don't look for any tips from me...Sarah is the knitting queen. I will post on here from time to time of random goings on in our corner of the world. The only goings on of any importance in this entire state seems to be that we have landed Nick Saban as our new football coach. At my office today, I think we calculated his salary to be somewhere just north of $600 an hour, and that's based on an 80 hour week. Gee...I'm 5% of the way there, boy do I feel lucky, not that I'm bitter...I'm sure his job is 20 times more important. I hope the holidays were kind to everyone...I did get a great Christmas present that I quickly became addicted to. For anyone who has Sirius satellite radio, you understand that it is hard to ever go back to regular radio after listening to it...now I just need a second pair of ears so I can take in more of what's on it. Enough for now. The adorable 3 year old, Audrey, is calling me saying it's time to fix dinner. Bonsoir...

I've Been Tagged!

Well, I have been tagged. What are six weird things about me???? Lets see.......
1) I am a preacher's daughter. Some people think this is not weird, but let me tell you! It is!
2) I babysit more than I do things with my friends.
3) I still have a baby doll that I recieved from my grandmother when I was three.
4) I buy more knitting books than I buy novels.
5) I let my friend Lindsey borrow my clips even though I know that I will forget to get them back.
6) I have two Harry Potter calanders and they are never on the right month, but my knitting pattern a day calander is.

I have to tag six people. I probably need to come up with six people. lol.

In my knitting news, I have finished another pair of baby booties and a little hat. I use the baby doll I mentioned to try them on. They are a little big on her, which means they will probably fit someone. I have started using Caron Simply Soft BRIGHTS! That is how they write it. It is a little weird. Oh well. I used a bright yellow for the latest pair, and I have purple and a really really really bright blue. I probably need to cast on for a square for Warm Up America if I am going to Knit Wits, a knitting group from my church, tomorrow night. They are knitting bed coverlets for the First Light Women's SHelter and I have been told again and again that they need a Sarah square. I am thinking that if I don't knit up a square they will ban me from Knit Wits. lol. If I go, I will take my camera.

I have been cleaning up my room all day today so I don't have to do it tomorrow. I am having a birthday party on Saturday, but Lindsey is spending the night Friday night so I need to clean up. At my party we are going to watch The Devil Wears Prada (awesome movie by the way) and eat and eat. I can't wait. I probably need to finish up in my room, so bye for now!

Knit from Your Stash!

I have decided to join the knit from your stash knit a long type thing. You can find it here, http://wendyknits.net/stash2007.htm. It seems pretty cool. I have decided that for me, the yarn that does not count is going to be baby yarn to use for NICU and new babies. I actually have plans for the stuff I have in my stash, so I think this may work out. I have also decided to do this all year, instead of just nine months. I have knitted up three pairs of baby booties and gotten about five or six inches done of Pop Pop's hunting scarf. I can not work on it for to long at a time because the color orange actually hurts my eyes! Sigh. I will post tomorrow!
